Routine

             

So this is the second week Toby's been back at work.  I was a little anxious at first being home by myself with little Samantha but she and I have a routine that seems to be working.  Samantha wakes up at 8am feeding every 3hrs and goes to sleep at 8pm consistently.  This past week she's been sleeping 5 hours straight at night.  Our beautiful baby girl is growing so fast she is now 9.5lbs.  She still is sleeping a lot throughout the day but when she's awake she is very alert.  She loves to be sung, read or talked  to.  With Toby back at work he misses spending time with Samantha so he has been doing the bedtime routine and it's so amazing to watch him with her, he's a great daddy. This week I ventured to the grocery store alone with baby girl.  I used the baby Bjorn for the first time and although it took me forever to get her in it, she loved it.  

BabyLegs

I am so excited that Samantha's BabyLegs fit her now. I tried them on her when we first came home from the hospital and the just slid right off her legs. For those of you who don't know; BabyLegs are kind of like leg warmers for baby's. They are usually warn with a onsie and are especially handy when baby starts to crawl (to protect their knees). Anyway I absolutely love them, we put her baby legs on and she looked so cute - as always! I took like 20 pictures of her in them, only 5 more pictures than I usually take of her in a day!
