Samantha has definitely been keeping us busy. She started this month cruising and is now a walker. Yea! She started taking a few steps here and there and on Valentines day she began walking more independently. Samantha is a very cautious walker, she'll walk and will stop to get her balance back then decide if she'll risk a fall by continuing to walk or take that safer route and crawl the rest of the way. Now that she is fully mobile she likes to follow me everywhere get into everything, lets just say I haven't gotten much done but have enjoyed the extra time and attention she needs from her mommy. I thought when Sammi started to walk that she would be so independent and ready to leave me in the dust. However it has actually made her more clingy, we are starting to see some separation anxiety for the first time. So we've been reassuring her with lots of praise and love.
Samantha has been spreading the love this month. She loves to give kisses and hugs, especially to animals. We took her to the animal shelter where she squealed with delight at all the
woof woofs and caah (dogs and cats). Even when the dogs were barking she showed no fear. Aunti Dani calls her the little dog whisperer.

For Valentine's day we headed for the snow and spent the weekend at Grandpa Steve and Marsha's house. Samantha loved listening to Grandpa play his guitar. She also had a blast in the snow. We got her all dressed in her snow gear and she looked so cute. We made her some snowballs which she absolutely loved until her hands got too cold to hold them. She was so frustrated at the fact that snow is cold :)
