It's Fall

I have been neglecting the blog. We have been so busy the last few weeks I haven't had much free time. We took Samantha to the pumpkin patch and she loved all of the little pumpkins. She would slap them with excitement and get frustrated when she could pick up the heavier ones. I think she thought they were all balls because she kept repeating "ba" . She really enjoyed seeing all the animals, the billy goats were her favorite.
We also got some bikes last month and have enjoyed going out for bike rides. Last weekend we ventured all the way to Angel Island. Samantha loved riding the ferry and enjoys riding in her little trailer. Although the hills proved to be challenging while pulling a trailer, it was a fun experience and we enjoyed the time together with our family.
Loving the Trailer

Angel Island first beach experience "what's this?"

This was also the first time she was on the beach and felt sand. She loved the waves and kept trying to jump out of Toby's arms. She did great with the sand and didn't attempt to eat any but did manage to get covered in it.

10 Months

Samantha has been doing more and more everyday. She stood by herself on Sunday for about 3 seconds and has attempted to stand alone all week. She has mastered clapping and will do so whenever she sees people clap or say YEA! She would rather eat "real" food than pureed baby food. Her favorites are Cheese, yogurt, and bread. I was looking back at one of my earlier posts from my pregnancy and read the one on cravings. It was funny to see that I craved cheese and couldn't stand avocados (which I love) because baby loves cheese and gags avocado. She is getting two more teeth on top, one on each side of the top two. These seem to be giving her more trouble than the others did but she is still in great spirit as always. We took her to her first concert last weekend to see Jonny Lang. He's one of our favorites and Samantha's too. She was kickin and waving her arms she loves to see people sing and play guitar. I think she has a thing for the guitar since her Grandpa Steve plays it for her.
