I can't believe my precious little baby will soon be three months old. Just this month I was telling Toby that March 3rd marks her third month and possibly lots of firsts. The first night in her crib, the first time sitting in her
bebepod chair, and the first time we take a family hike with daddy carrying her in the baby
bjorn. But as I think about how soon March 3rd is approaching I'm hesitant to let my little girl go into her own room and crib. She's always been a good sleeper and started her life sleeping in between the two of us in her co-sleeper. I loved having her in bed with us, waking and seeing her so peaceful, snugly, and safe. Then at 2 months we moved her into her bassinet just beside the bed and she slept even more soundly (as did we) since she wasn't disturbed by our every toss and turn; we too were less interrupted by the grunts and groans she like to make as she sleeps. But that's what I love. I love hearing her breathing heavily as she dozes off to sleep. I love to hear the sounds of her yawns and sighs as she wakes. I want to hold onto every moment I experience with her and yet I love each new moment that comes as time goes by.
So Sweet

What Samantha can do
- She can roll over onto her side and teeters a little until she rolls back onto her back. (I know she'll get all the way over very soon)
- She grasps toys and her blanket
- She likes to take out her Chupa (pacifier) she holds it so tightly her knuckles turn white. Then she gets mad she doesn't have it in her mouth anymore so she begins flailing her arms until the chupa goes flying through the air.
- She likes to be heard and will let out a shout.
- She loves to smile
- She wakes up happy
- She'll smile at you if you smile at her
- She can stick out her tongue
- She can sit up with assistance.
- She loves when her daddy comes home and gets the biggest smile when she sees him and hears his voice.
