Yummy Yummy
Samantha is five months old and she has definitely grown over this past month. She has really begun to enjoy her excersaucer and has learned what buttons make noise. She reaches out for toys or whatever she sees that interests her, of course everything goes straight to the mouth. We've just started to give her solids. She's had rice cereal and oatmeal so far, next week we will start on some vegetables. But so far she loves the cereal and has done really well with the spoon. I say "Take a bite" and she opens her mouth and chomps down. It gets a little messy but she loves it. I'm usually laughing through her meal time because she'll get so excited after she takes a bite that she starts wiggling her hands and legs and of course the cereal gets everywhere.
She is starting to enjoy tummy time much more and is trying so hard to get moving. She has begun to babble and if I'm talking on the phone or to someone she tries to join in. If you've talked to me on the phone recently you've heard her! One of the new things she does is growling/talking like a pirate it's really cute and funny arrghrrrr!
