Last Friday Toby brought her to my school for our annual Ice cream Social. I found a little Shining Light Shirt for her to wear and she looked so cute. We also took her to the kids fair, it was neat to see all the kid things and vendors. It was really hot so we didn't stay very long but Samantha really enjoyed seeing so many kids and was especially enamored with the characters: Dora, Scooby, Curious George, and my favs the care bears. She really seemed to want to go and grab them. Samantha is starting to show more of her personality. She's always got a smile and seems to have an excitement and love for life. Being her mother is an absolute joy.

Future SLPer
Samantha has been so busy this past month, mostly growing! We went to her 9 month well baby check and everything was great; she is right where she should be developmentally and even a little ahead. When they measured her the nurse had to double check it because she was sure the first time had been wrong but I knew it was right. I'd noticed Samantha quickly moved into her 12-18 month clothes (just because of her height). Even when the Dr. came in she wanted to recheck the height to make sure it was accurate. Samantha went from 40% in height to the 97%. She's our little string bean. She has been doing lots of talking and will even attempt to call for Sparky! She love to cruise the furniture and climb the stairs. She now has four teeth, two on top and two on the bottom.
